How does Galerie help NHS Trusts?

Powered by Microsoft technology, the Galerie application is designed to make clinical photography safer, simpler and more joined-up across NHS teams. 

Governance is at the heart of the app, so you’ll always have control over how long media is stored and how it’s managed. 

Clinicians can add notes to images when they’re uploaded, and other colleagues are able annotate them. That means care reviews are smoother and everyone can keep track of conditions and care over time.   

Patients receive faster care as the right people can access the right information with ease, helping to speed up decisions that matter.   

Media is kept within the Trust if a clinician leaves, ensuring images are retained safely and avoiding shadow copies or lost data.
