Node4 Named on Crown Commercial Service’s Cloud Compute 2 Framework

This positions Node4 as one of twelve approved suppliers on Lot 1 of the framework, further extending its offering to the public sector.

DERBY – 14th December 2023 – Node4, the cloud-led digital transformation Managed Services Provider (MSP), has secured a place on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS)’s Cloud Compute 2 framework, being named a supplier for Lot 1: Core Services and Lot 3: Professional Services.

Cloud Compute 2 is the procurement framework for the UK government and public sector organisations to obtain public cloud services through pre-vetted suppliers. As a Cloud Compute 2 approved supplier, Node4 can help public sector organisations to drive modernisation and efficiencies through their cloud computing services, while safe in the knowledge that it is fully compliant and regulated.

As one of only twelve suppliers successfully listed to Lot 1 of the framework, Node4 features alongside industry giants, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. A place on Lot 1 recognises Node4’s ability to host public sector cloud services from its secure, certified, and UK-based data centres. Node4 is positioned to offer a primary or secondary data centre for public sector organisations as public sector organisations increasingly look to adopt a multi-cloud approach. Its latest Virtual Data Centre offering is approved on the Cloud Compute 2 framework, supplying a modern Infrastructure as a Service platform that offers true flexibility for hosting public sector workloads.

Positioned in Lot 3 means Node4 is a validated partner to help public sector organisations with auditing, planning, support, training, and consultancy. As a certified Microsoft Azure Expert MSP, Node4 has the ability to deliver a joined-up service across Azure and its own products and services. Its Microsoft expertise enables Node4 to provide an easy and seamless integration into Azure environments.

Cloud Compute 2 is the latest of Node4’s successes with government frameworks, having also been named an approved supplier on CCS’s Network Services 3 framework in the summer of 2023. Strengthened by its recent strategic acquisitions of public sector experts risual and Tisski, Node4’s experience and capabilities across hybrid cloud environments can now be easily translated into the public sector.
