Technical Overview

At the heart of the N4DRS is the Platespin Forge appliance which revolutionises the way disaster recovery solutions are deployed, tested and managed. To protect both physical and virtual server workloads the appliance will be utilised using embedded virtualisation technology. The servers will be backed up onto the appliance regularly so that in the event of a server outage or disaster your business will continue to run as usual on the appliance until the normal environment is restored.

Your disaster recovery solution can be centralised in one of Node4’s state of the art Data Centres with our on-hand fully qualified Technical Support. High speed connections to link both sites can be provided by Node4 in 10Mb, 100Mb, or 1Gb sizes which can also be utilised for internet access.

However, if you have already co-located your business servers into one of Node4’s Data Centres, we can provide the support needed to set up the appliance in your company’s offices. We can again deliver the high speed connectivity should you need it with this option.
