New Hall Planned at Wakefield Data Centre

Data Centre specialists Node4 have announced expansion of their Wakefield Data Centre with plans to open a new hall.

Since the launch of the Wakefield site in July 2009, rack space has almost sold out in the first two halls due to accelerated demand for hosting facilities, combined with Node4’s outstanding commitment to customer service.

The third hall will continue the high specifications set previously at the Wakefield Data Centre with N+N-N+1 cooling environments and power backup infrastructure.

Node4 promise not to stop there, with continuous investment in current and future Data Centre facilities across the UK. Experiencing rapid growth since its formation in April 2004, Node4 recently opened a new hall at their Derby Data Centre and announced the development of a new site in Northampton which is due to launch in February 2011.

Node4’s Managing Director Andrew Gilbert comments “We are pleased at the progress of the Wakefield site. We’ve continued to meet and exceed new customer expectations, not just by the high specification of facilities at the Data Centre, but the flexibility and high levels of personal service offered by Node4”.
